Meditation hut

In the center of Arisaig there is a hill. That hill is covered with beautiful old growth forest. On that hill sits a meditation cabin. It is believed to date back to the gold rush and was renovated by the monks in the 80's. The cabin is a very tranquil place to contemplate and enjoy nature. The hill has it's own unique ecosystem and is abundant with a vast array of bird life and other indigenous wild life. You may even see an Antechinus bounding through the leaf litter from one safe haven to another.
