Welcome to Arisaig Retreat

Arisaig is a 100% off-grid retreat with a focus on emotional health, integration and wellness. Arisaig retreat is located in the heart of Dja Dja Wurrung country on 100 acres of the most stunningly beautiful countryside 20 minutes North of Daylesford and 20 minutes South of Castlemaine in Victoria, Australia.

Arisaig has an extremely diverse array of flora and fauna including Koalas, Echidna, Wallaby, Kangaroo and countless bird species. We are extremely privileged to have a number of very old trees on the property. These trees are estimated to be over 500 years old, they truly are breathtaking and have to be seen to be believed.

Knoydart

Our main building is the "Knoydart" building. It is designed from the ground up to be a multidimensional space allowing for a vast array of activities to be conducted. Knoydart is nestled in it's own stunning secluded bush setting nestled among young eucalyptus and acacia trees.

Meditation hut

At the center of Arisaig there is a hill. That hill is covered with beautiful old growth forest. On that hill sits the meditation cabin. It is believed to date back to the gold rush and was renovated by the monks who used to live here.

The cabin is a very tranquil place to contemplate and enjoy nature. The hill has it's own unique ecosystem and is abundant with a vast array of bird life and other indigenous wild life. You may even see an Antechinus bounding through the leaf litter from one safe haven to another.
